Serongwanyane Awards winners of Never Again! Campaign

Never Again! is a campaign to showcase the role played by community radio stations in the fight against domestic violence, through their use of the airwaves. As well as their participation in advocacy campaigns in partnership with their local organisations.

The Never Again! Campaign mobilises community radio stations to develop innovative media and advocacy campaigns during the 16 days of Activismfor No Violence Against Woman and Children Abuse taking place from 25 November to 10 December every year.

The Campaign had 3 key objectives viz:

1. Using the power of Community Radio in the fight against domestic violence

2. Furthering the quality and professionalism in community radio program production

3. Recognition for creative content development and local partnerships
